§ · case studies

§ 01 · what case studies prove

Revenue numbers with receipts.

Every case study below is tied to a specific operating model we ran, named methodology, named tools, verifiable metrics where we have permission, industry-archetype framing where we don't. Named clients: Emani, Big Game Sports, Noble Paris. Archetypes are patterns across multiple clients in the same vertical.

tl;dr
  • Three named clients with permission to publish: Emani ($2M MRR), Big Game Sports ($850K), Noble Paris ($420K).
  • Forty-three industry and city archetypes drawn from patterns across our portfolio, illustrative names, real operating models, disclosure banner on every page.
  • Every case publishes the named methodology, the named operators on our side, and verifiable metrics where permission allows.
  • We turn down most inbound. Four fit filters in §05: $50K/mo revenue floor, 40%+ contribution margin, real product-market fit, weekly founder involvement.
  • Eight service lines power every case: Shopify Development, Shopify Plus, Web Design, Web Development, Mobile, SaaS, Brand Identity, Growth Strategy.

§ 03 · industry archetypes

Forty-three patterns across the portfolio.

Each archetype describes a pattern we have run across multiple clients in the same vertical or city. Revenue ranges are the bands the pattern typically operates in. Industry archetypes group by what brands sell; city archetypes group by where operating context (timezone, regulation, talent pool) shapes the playbook. Disclosure framing follows the FTC endorsement guidance — illustrative names, real patterns, banner above the fold on every archetype page.

§ 04 · how we publish case studies

Honesty is the editorial rule.

Four rules we hold ourselves to. Every case study on this site passes each of them before publishing. The rules borrow from schema.org's Article type conventions for transparent attribution and the editorial discipline outlined in Google Search Central's E-E-A-T guidance for case study credibility.

rule 01

Named means named.

A case study names a brand only when that brand has signed off on the specific metrics, quotes, and positioning. Where we cannot secure explicit permission, we write as "a clean beauty brand we worked with" and keep the framing honest about the archetype.

rule 02

Verifiable numbers.

Revenue figures, growth percentages, conversion rates come from the client's actual Shopify, Klaviyo, or attribution dashboards. Screenshots available under NDA to serious inbound prospects. No composite metrics.

rule 03

Attribution to operators.

Case studies name the specific designer, engineer, growth lead, or strategist on our side who did the work. Where the client had a strong in-house operator, we name them too.

rule 04

No silver-bullet claims.

A case study names the operating model (Clean Shelf Method, Collection Method, Cold Chain Method) that produced the result. We do not claim a single tactic or app changed the business.

§ 05 · what we look for

Great case studies start with great fits.

We turn down the majority of inbound. Four filters tell us early whether the math works for both sides — derived from real unit-economics patterns Shopify documents in the State of Commerce report and the subscription-retention benchmarks Klaviyo publishes annually.

  1. 01

    Revenue floor.

$50K per month minimum, trending up. Below that, you are a product company not a growth company; we are the wrong vendor.

  2. 02

    Margin reality.

40%+ contribution margin after landed costs and fulfilment. Below that, growth spend compounds losses.

  3. 03

    Product-market fit verified.

The repeat-purchase curve actually curves up. If organic retention is flat, the product is still being discovered.

  4. 04

    Founder involvement.

A founder or senior stakeholder available for a weekly operating review. Growth work is a partnership, not a handoff.

§ 07 · your case study

The next case study starts with a call.

30-minute diagnostic call. Honest read on whether the math works. Scoped quote within 48 hours.
