§ 01 · the brand archetype

The archetype represents a slice of Glasgow design-led streetwear we ship into reliably: a Glasgow School of Art-trained founder running a small drop-cycle independent at £30K MRR pre-engagement on a Shopify Basic stack, with strong brand voice but weak conversion infrastructure, no formal Discord cohort despite organic community demand, and a wholesale-DTC mix where DTC was undercapitalised relative to its actual demand.

Workstream 1 · Shopify Plus migration with custom drop theme. Migration to Shopify Plus, custom theme honoring the GSA design DNA (editorial typography, generous white space, strong photography system), countdown timers tied to drop windows, sold-out-waitlist capture for cross-drop demand routing.

Workstream 2 · Discord cohort + drop-day priority. Formalised Discord server with member tiers, drop-day priority-access codes for Discord-active members, and product-leak posts 48 hours pre-drop. Member base grew from organic 1.2K to 8.4K active across 14 months.

Workstream 3 · Klaviyo segmentation + SMS drop-day. Klaviyo drop-cohort flows, pre-drop teaser, drop-day SMS via Postscript, late-drop email recovery, post-drop UGC capture sequence.

Workstream 4 · Brand-identity refresh + Figma library. Built a Figma design library handed to the in-house team for ongoing campaign work. Type, colour, motion, and voice tokens documented — the design DNA becomes scalable across drops without losing the founder's hand.

Workstream 5 · Bundle + tier merchandising. Outfit-level bundles (top + bottom + accessory). AOV moved from £52 to £88 across 12 months as bundle attach reached 23%.
