§ 01 · the brand archetype

An Oklahoma operator running made-to-order plus capsule.

The archetype represents a slice of Oklahoma City DTC we ship into reliably: a heritage ranchwear brand operating from a small workshop in OKC or Tulsa, running two product lines (a standard catalog of ranch-grade boots, leatherwork, and apparel sized off the shelf, plus a made-to-order line for bespoke boots and custom leatherwork that takes 6 to 12 weeks to produce), selling direct-to-consumer through the brand site plus a wholesale layer that serves regional Western boutiques and feed stores across Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and into the broader Plains region. Pre-engagement state: $60K MRR on a Shopify Standard setup, made-to-order orders captured through email and PDFs (8 to 12 emails per bespoke order to nail down spec), no on-site configurator, no wholesale portal, and a Klaviyo program running two flows on default templates.

Three structural problems compounded the revenue ceiling. One, the made-to-order line generated roughly 4 hours of email coordination per order and capped throughput at the team's manual ceiling. Two, the wholesale channel ran on email-and-PDFs alongside no real B2B portal, capping the active wholesale account count at roughly 24 because that was what one operator could process without errors. Three, capsule drops launched without a waitlist or pre-access mechanic, leaving roughly 30 percent of plausible opening-day conversion on the floor.

§ 02 · the approach

14 weeks. Five workstreams. One launch.

Workstream 1 · Shopify Plus migration with made-to-order configurator. Migration from Shopify Standard to Plus with custom theme work for an on-site bespoke-boot configurator. Captures size, leather type, sole, toe shape, heel, stitching, custom inlays; calculates pricing; posts directly to checkout. Email coordination per made-to-order order dropped from 4 hours to under 45 minutes. Made-to-order share moved from low single-digits to 24 percent of total orders.

Workstream 2 · Wholesale B2B portal. Shopify Plus B2B with regional-boutique and feed-store company accounts, NET-30 workflow, tiered pricing rules, dealer-level reorder forecasting. Active wholesale account count moved from 24 to 76 over 12 months because the portal removed the manual-overhead ceiling.

Workstream 3 · Capsule drop mechanics. Custom theme work to support timed heritage capsule reveals, pre-access windows for the brand's loyalty subscriber tier, and automatic queue management on launch-day traffic. Klaviyo capsule flow with pre-access codes 24 hours before public release. Capsule drop sell-through landed at 91 percent across the first six post-launch releases.

Workstream 4 · Lifetime-warranty + repair-program intake. Built a structured lifetime-warranty intake flow on the brand site that captures product, warranty status, repair scope, and estimated turnaround. Repair throughput moved from a backlogged queue to a managed pipeline.

Workstream 5 · Klaviyo flows + heritage-cohort segmentation. Welcome series, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, plus distinct flows for the off-the-shelf cohort and the made-to-order cohort. Email revenue share moved from 7 percent of total to 25 percent over 6 months.

§ 05 · what this means for okc brands

If your Oklahoma brand looks like this archetype.

The pattern this archetype represents (Oklahoma City heritage ranchwear or Western DTC operator with a made-to-order line, in the $30K to $150K MRR range, sitting on email-and-PDFs for both bespoke orders and wholesale ordering) is one of our recurring engagement shapes for the Western heritage scene. The 14-week timeline holds steady; workstreams compress or expand in proportion; the metrics typically land within plus or minus 20 percent of the archetype above.

Five capabilities transfer directly to a comparable Oklahoma City engagement. First, Shopify Plus migration with on-site bespoke configurator that removes 3 to 4 hours of coordination per made-to-order order. Second, Shopify Plus B2B wholesale portal that scales the active account count past the manual-overhead ceiling. Third, capsule drop mechanics for heritage releases. Fourth, lifetime-warranty intake infrastructure that captures the brand's lifetime-warranty promise as a structured flow. Fifth, Klaviyo cohort segmentation that respects the difference between off-the-shelf and made-to-order buyers.

Every Oklahoma City engagement starts with a 30-minute discovery call. Scope, timeline, and budget come back in writing within 48 hours. Central Time, same-day response Monday to Friday 9 to 6.
